spear'd!

while shopping and running around the other day, I happened upon a strange outdoor escalator. it led to a garden in the centre of a group of tall buildings. on the south wall of this garden was a magnificent mosaic depicting the legend of the Buile Shuibhne, a king named sweeney who went mad and was exiled. while in exile across eurpoe he wrote beautiful poetry which was inscribed within the images themselves. he was eventually killed by a jealous husband with a spear. you can google the story to find out more! it's fascinating.
